“I don’t care what you say. I’m through talking this to death, and you better know your place, or you can see yourself to the door.” My boyfriend Jackson was an Alpha wolf that thought that he was god’s gift to any omega. I thought that I could accept the fact that he didn’t believe in monogamy and would share the wealth with any man that crossed his path. “I’m getting sick and tired of you trying to question all of my decisions. Either you trust me, Walker, or this whole thing is going to fall apart.” He was trying to turn it around on me, but it wasn’t going to work this time. I had seen more than enough at the bar, and the way that he manhandled that young kid was unconscionable.

“It’s interesting that you would say these things, when I should be the one that is angry. You can say anything you want, but it’s not going to change the facts. You are a man whore, and you can’t seem to turn around without jumping some unsuspecting victim. I’ve turned a blind eye for too long. You’re using me for your own selfish greed and the gravy train ends here.” I couldn’t believe that I had the courage to stand up to a man that was two times my size.

Jackson was always known to go to the gym and to put that extra effort into making his body the perfect specimen. I was more toned with the kind of swimmers build and V shaped torso that had a lot of Alpha’s vying for my attention.

Suddenly, he was grabbing me by the throat and lifting me into the air. He slammed me into the wall and held me there with his black eyes narrowed into my own. “What makes you think that you have any choice? I’m the one that you keep crawling back to and don’t you forget it. Every time that you leave, you always end up banging on my door in the wee hours of the morning. I don’t think that I’m going to allow you to leave.” He was cutting off the air supply to my lungs. I was having a hard time breathing. I flailed aimlessly looking around for anything that I could use for weapon. I realized that I had the only weapon that mattered….my god given animal instincts.

“I’m through taking your abuse.” I was only 160 pounds, but I had learned to use my weight to my advantage. Letting go of his wrist, I was now feeling the full effect of his fingers digging into the skin of my throat. I slapped my two hands together against his ears; knocking off his equilibrium and making him drop me. I used that opening to grab the nearest object. It turned out to be one of his favorite pieces. I struck that phallic symbol to the side of his head and then I turned into the wolf.

My brown hair was now replaced with a white mane and sharp teeth that took him by surprise.
